I have been practising for over 13 years and have worked internationally in the area of psychology and mental health. I have been serving as a counselling psychologist in the NHS for the last 8 years. I have also worked in a therapeutic capacity with corporations such as Johnson & Johnson, JPMC and Accenture.
My training and experience spans working with people suffering from different degrees of distress, including anxiety, depression, bereavement and work stress. The labels are incidental - I believe in working with the PERSON, who is currently struggling in his/her unique social and psychological context.
People differ in how they make sense of themselves and their difficulties. I offer a warm, safe and contained space that is singular to the therapeutic relationship that we would share. In this space, we would collaboratively explore your concerns, so that a shared, holistic understanding of what might be going on for you can evolve as you experience it.
I believe that we all suffer – this is a given in the world we live in today. However, I also believe that we have great potential for joy, peace, self-reflection and emotional intelligence. In therapy, it is this capacity that we would together strive to galvanise, so that you can live your life in line with your most cherished values.
